Learn West Coast Swing in just one weekend!

It all happens on April 9-10, 2022! An INTENSIVE weekend dedicated to WEST COAST SWING in Quebec City.

The formula in a nutshell

• Two days of intensive workshops + 3 evening dances

All in all

→ 6 hours of lessons
→ 3h / day (Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm)
→ 3 evening dances (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Locations

→ Classes: Salsa Attitude, 3188, chemin St-Foy
→ Friday and Saturday evenings begin at 8:30 p.m. and take place at Swing Ambassade, 333, Rue de la Couronne

Sunday evening at the Phoenix du Parvis, starting with an introductory class at 7pm, 441 Rue du Parvis.

You can register for 1 or 2 days. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn the opposite role (lead or follow)!

Workshops

Saturday, April 9, 1 to 4 p.m.: BASICS

We’ll cover the basics: push break, left side pass, under the arm, whip, inside turn, outside turn, sling shot, plus the essential WCS turn technique and a few surprise moves and variations.

→ Level: beginner.

Sunday, April 10 (1 to 4 p.m.) : BASICS II

Continuation of Saturday’s workshop, plus several new variations depending on the participants.

→ Level: beginner-intermediate.

Cost

→ $80 for 6 hours (2 days)
→ $50 for 3 hours (1 day)
→ Dance evening: $5
