From an early age, Mélanie has been interested in the visual arts and theater. During her travels and her work as a Club Med entertainer, she discovered Latin social dances around the age of 20.

In 2017, she joined the Quebec City dance community and became particularly interested in west coast swing. This dance allows her to express herself fully whatever the music, and to integrate all the dance styles she has touched: ballet, afrobeat, blues, hip-hop, etc.

Initially an assistant in 2019, she has now been teaching WCS at the Pulsation danse school in Quebec City since 2023. Funny thing about her: she grew up on a sailboat with her family at the age of 11. Contact with people and nature are important to her.
