A look back at the origins of the style
West Coast Swing (WCS) is a modern, versatile partner dance with a strong element of connection and improvisation. The two people forming the partnership are called leader and follower. Through a connection point (hands, arms, hips, etc.) the partners exchange information about their placement in space, direction and speed of movement.
