Conditions of sale and cancellation

when purchasing a package for an event organized by the Association des danseurs de WCS de Québec

A refund of your package is possible under the following conditions:

  • More than two months before the event – 100% of the amount
  • More than one month before the event – 50% of the amount
  • More than one week before the event – 25% of the amount
  • One week before the event – No refunds possible.

It is possible to transfer your package to another person in the same role.

Write to us as soon as possible at wcsquebec@hotmail.com specifying the person’s name and e-mail address. Please manage the money transfer between you. You must receive confirmation from us for the transfer to be effective.

If you are unable to attend the event, please contact us as soon as possible at wcsquebec@hotmail.com.

COMPLIANCE WITH CODE OF ETHICS

With a view to offering you the safest possible space, both physically and emotionally, the Quebec City WCS Dancers’ Association ensures that its values of respect, benevolence, tolerance and inclusion are applied in its activities and events.

All event participants agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the Quebec City WCS Dancers Association to report any misconduct, inappropriate comments or behaviour.

We also recommend that you read the Dancer’s Guide to learn about behaviors that promote mutual pleasure and harmony on the dance floor.

In the event that an individual or group of individuals refuses to cooperate with us, we reserve the right to take whatever measures are necessary to make the event safe and enjoyable for everyone, including the possibility of dismissal from the event, temporarily or permanently, as the case may be, without any form of compensation.

IMAGES AND VIDEOS

All event participants are aware that they may be filmed or photographed, intentionally or unintentionally, during the event. This content could be used on social networks or for promotional purposes. She has the right to ask anyone to stop filming her, unless it is unintentional because she appears in the background of the main subject. She also undertakes to respect any request made by another person not to film or photograph her as the main subject.

RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Smoking is prohibited at all our events, and it is mandatory to keep the premises clean. You are also required to respect employees and other customers or potential users of the venue.

Any breach or non-compliance with the rules and regulations of the premises where the event takes place may result in fines and additional costs which will not be borne by the organizers and will be invoiced to the persons at fault.

LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY

We remind you that it is your responsibility to look after your personal property as well as the property of others, and that under no circumstances can the event be held responsible for theft, loss or depreciation of property.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY

We remind you that you are responsible for your consumption of alcohol and drugs at all times. Please remain aware of your limits. We also encourage you not to drink and drive. We’ll be happy to help you find a ride home if you need one.

DISCHARGE IN THE EVENT OF INJURY

We would like to remind you that dancing is a physical activity that can involve various risks for yourself, your partner or others. Good physical condition and respect for safety rules are essential. We ask you to be aware that dancing can involve risks of injury, and that it is your responsibility to inform your partner or not to dance if you are suffering from discomfort. Please take the necessary precautions.

During workshops, we rely on you to respect the teachers’ safety instructions. We encourage you to inform them of any physical difficulties or fears you may have about working on a proposed movement.

To the extent permitted by applicable legal provisions, the organizers and their volunteer members, partners and guest teachers are released from all liability in the event of accidents of any kind whatsoever or damage without exception or reservation. No recourse against members of the organizing team, volunteers or guest teachers will be accepted.
